Great news everyone! The Virginia Board of Pharmacy has decided the Post Office is causing them too much of a headache with their unpredictable delivery times. Starting today, they are no longer mailing paper medical cards. You will get a special email with your license information and the new instructions. To buy, all you need to do is print that email OR simply show the email on your phone to the dispensary. You will still need to bring your ID and the certificate from me, but gone are the days of waiting for snail mail! Woot!
Post-July 1st UPDATE: Now that the state registration card is no longer required, they have gone back to mailing a paper card. Don't know why they changed again, but you can laminate it and keep in your wallet forever.
