Good News For Virginia Medical Card Renewals, too!

I've been reading up on the new rules the Virginia Board of Pharmacy has made for medical cards. In addition to creating an electronic medical card, Virginia is also now allowing annual renewals to take effect as soon as you fill out the renewal information and pay the fee. This means, even if your old card technically expires before you receive the new electronic card, you can still buy medical products! The dispensary will be able to see your renewal online as soon as you pay the Board. You will still need to be able to show them that your certificate has been renewed, but that's the easy part :)
